Celebrating le boyfriend's birthday :)

Last Friday, I celebrated my boyfriend's birthday in the city and was able to take a few quick snapshots of my outfit. Of course, I asked him to take my photos again, because he is so good at it and he's just too sweet to me hehe* We had fun celebrating the night away and I am glad he enjoyed. :)

Barely Surviving

Going forty days without vintage shopping is really difficult! However, this is helping me wear more of the items that are within my closet or come across clothing I haven't worn in a while. Most importantly it is allowing me to save my money and once Lent is over, the Manhattan Vintage Show will be coming around the corner in April and I will have enough cash saved up! woohoo! So until then, I pretend I am shopping through my own closet and adore the items I already have. Here is a sneak peak into my jewelry box filled with vintage rings, bracelets and earrings. I took this picture a long time ago, so believe me when I say I have more than what is actually here now hehehe! Plus, I have another special jewelry box for earrings & other rings. Yes, I have a lot of jewelry but I can't help it, as always :P

Let's do brunch!

After a long tiring week and not being able to see Pat for a whole week, my boy friend, the sweet guy that he already is, decided to treat me to a wonderful brunch on this Sunday afternoon. Thank you for the yummy food and smiles all day long :) We took pictures today of not only just my outfit but I took a picture of his outfit as well, so you can see how he gets down in vintage just like me hehe* :) I had to use my regular digital camera while my other camera is being borrowed for the weekend, but I did my best to take clear photos. Enjoy!

40 Days

For Lent, I gave up vintage shopping for 40 DAYS! LOL Hopefully, I can make it! haha So far I have been doing well, but I have been having those sudden urges to shop through a lovely rack of vintage dresses `sigh I think I can manage, as long as I keep myself busy and keep my brain from thinking of vintage clothes & accessories, then I'm good until Easter :) So, I have been just shopping for either vintage inspired clothing & accessories or just shopping at my other favorite shops :) Here is a picture of one of my most recent purchases from Kanibal Home:

I love the zipper detail along the front & criss cross strap in the back. Purple is my favorite color and I am so excited to wear this dress! :) I think I'll probably wear it for my boyfriend's birthday coming in March or maybe another occasion, who knows? hehe*
